Games [4Diversity] organizes game jams where people from different backgrounds create new games in just one weekend. Each jam focuses on a theme linked to a socio-cultural minority, such as LGBTQ+, refugees, religion, folklore, or visible disabilities.
The jams bring together designers, programmers, artists, and scholars. In mixed teams they explore culture through play, and build prototypes that spark dialogue.
Past editions included I Believe! (religion and ideology) and Fuck First Impressions (skin diseases and visible disabilities). These jams were developed together with partners such as the EBor Foundation and hosted at venues like Winkel van Sinkel and the Dominican Monastery in Utrecht.
